Currently, my focus lies on completing my master’s degree in Gerontology at the Free University of Brussels (VUB) and leading YATA Belgium as its elected Chair.
I also work as a polyvalent nurse across various branches of healthcare, gaining hands-on experience and staying connected to my passion for helping others.
My professional journey has been shaped by my experience in the Belgian Parliament, where I supported MP Frieda Gijbels (N-VA) in her work, focusing on:
- Healthcare policy
- Science policy
- Agriculture
- The medical component (MedCom) of the Belgian Armed Forces
In my free time, I enjoy teaching LESMILLS group fitness classes and challenging myself with CrossFit.
Born in the Caucasus, I bring a unique perspective shaped by my Ukrainian-Russian roots. Our family came to Belgium in 1997 as political refugees when I was 5 years old. Thanks to the support we received, I could pursue my education, grow personally and professionally, and embrace opportunities that shaped who I am today.
This experience fuels my dedication to empowering the next generation. I believe in supporting young people to ensure they thrive and reach their full potential.
